A print and signage studio in Plumstead

Who we are

Prodigy Graphics is a print, branding and signage studio at Shop 4, The Village Square, Plumstead, in Cape Town’s Southern Suburbs. We do large and medium format digital printing. We make wallpaper and wall murals, banners and flags, canvas and fine art prints, vinyl decals and window film. We also make all kinds of signs, including cut lettering on doors, illuminated crests and 3D letters.

Our team has more than 30 years of combined experience in branding and printing. When you contact the studio, you speak directly to our team. We quote the job and explain the options to you. In a studio our size, you deal with the people who make your job. There is no call centre.

What we make

We choose to offer a wide range of work. The same studio prints murals for children’s bedrooms, frosts office partitions, wraps food trailers and makes halo-lit letters for reception walls.

Here is some of the work you can see on this site:

• The signs at La Motte in Franschhoek, including halo-lit red crests and the lettering on the bakery, the farm pantry and the old cellar
• Damask wallpaper on the curved stairwell at Lanzerac in Stellenbosch, with the hotel’s illuminated sign and its spa branding
• Red 3D letters, direction signs and a heritage timeline wall for Piket Implemente in Piketberg
• Shopfronts for Woodstock Laundry, Queen of Steel and Wildfire Tattoo & Piercing
• The Love Pizza trailer wrap, wall graphics for Fresh Stop at Airport City and the lotus mandala stage front at Earthdance Cape Town
• Panoramic Table Mountain murals, washroom murals, laser-cut world maps, and wallpaper and murals in many homes

How a job works

1. Enquiry. Tell us what you need, the size, where it goes and when you need it. Use the quote page, call us, or send a WhatsApp or email. Photos help.
2. Quote. We send you a quote and suggest materials and options that suit the job.
3. Artwork and proof. Send your own artwork or ask us to design it. In both cases, you get a proof to check and approve before we make anything.
4. Production. We print, cut and finish the job to match the proof you approved.
5. Fitting. We can hang the wallpaper, apply the vinyl or film and fit the sign. We can also supply it ready for you to fit.

Why clients come back

Clients come back because we do the job properly the first time. We check your files before we print them. If a photo is too small or a colour will not match, we tell you before we print. Efficient production keeps our prices competitive. Design, printing, cutting and fitting all happen in the same studio, so you have one contact if anything needs to change.
