Cut vinyl and printed vinyl

We make stickers, labels, decals and lettering from self-adhesive vinyl. There are two main types. Printed vinyl can show full-colour artwork, photos and colour gradients. We print it and then cut it to shape. Cut vinyl is a solid colour. We cut it along the outline of your letters or logo, so only the design stays on the surface.

We print and cut both types. We make small stickers, and also lettering that runs across a whole wall. One example is the script lettering that says Have a great day, Cape Town.

Stickers and labels

We make logo stickers, product labels for jars and bottles, packaging seals, event giveaways and laptop stickers from printed vinyl. We cut die-cut stickers right through to the shape of your design. We cut kiss-cut stickers through the vinyl only, so several stickers can be on one sheet. Tell us what the sticker is going on, and if the surface is curved, gets wet or is kept cold. We will suggest the right vinyl and finish.

Lettering for glass, walls and vehicles

Cut vinyl is a common way to put lettering on a shop window or door. It can show your name, opening hours, a phone number or a line of script. The shopfront of Queen of Steel has a moth design on the glass below its gold script name. We use the same vinyl for lettering on office walls and kitchens, and for names on trailers and vehicles. Reflective and sandblast vinyl

Reflective vinyl sends light back towards where it came from, so it shines in headlights. It is used for house numbers, gates, vehicles, trailers and safety markings that must be easy to see at night.

Sandblast vinyl looks like etched glass. We cut it into logos, lettering, bands and patterns for office partitions, doors and bathroom windows. One example is the hexagon band on office partitions in our gallery. See window film and frosting.

Artwork for stickers and cut vinyl

For cut vinyl, we need a vector file, because the cutting machine follows the lines of your design. Printed stickers need high-resolution artwork with bleed and a clear cut line around the shape. If you only have a JPG of your logo, we can redraw it. Our artwork guidelines explain the details.
