Food trailer, coffee trailer and vehicle branding

Prodigy Graphics brands food trailers, coffee trailers and vehicles in Cape Town. We use printed wraps, logos, menus and cut vinyl decals. People see a trailer from every side, so we design the branding for every side. Our trailer work includes the red Love Pizza wood-fired pizzeria trailer in Noordhoek, a Pick n Pay coffee trailer at an event below Table Mountain, and the Rise and Grind coffee trailer.

02More information

Branding for food and coffee trailers

A food or coffee trailer trades in a car park, at a market or at a festival. The branding on the trailer is your sign, your menu and your advert. People should see what you sell and remember your name, even from far away.

The Love Pizza trailer in Noordhoek is bright red. Its name is across the top, with a large heading that says it is a wood-fired pizzeria. A printed menu is next to the hatch, and a printed log pile runs along the bottom.

How we design for every side of a trailer

People see a trailer from every side and from different heights. Often the hatch is open, the awning is up and there is a queue in front. We lay out the design on photos of each side. We make sure people can see the name when the hatch is open. We put the menu at a height that is easy to read. We put contact details and social media names on the side that people walk past.

The Rise and Grind coffee trailer has its name on branded awning panels. The Pick n Pay coffee trailer at an event below Table Mountain has navy branding from end to end. See more in our event branding work.

Full wraps, part wraps and decals

A full wrap covers the panels in printed vinyl. It suits designs with photos, like the Love Pizza log pile. A part wrap covers only some panels, and the trailer’s own paint colour shows on the rest. Cut vinyl decals are the simplest option. They show lettering, a logo and a phone number in a solid colour.

For company cars, bakkies and vans, send us photos and tell us what you want. We will tell you what we can do.

How to prepare your trailer

Vinyl sticks to clean, smooth surfaces in good condition. Fix dents, rust, flaking paint and old peeling decals first. Vinyl shows what is underneath, and it does not stick to damaged paint.

If your prices change often, put them on a separate menu board or panel. You can then update them without changing the branding. We also make matching flags, banners and A-frames for your market or event spot. For smaller jobs, see cut vinyl decals.

FAQ

Vehicle & trailer branding: questions

Have another question? Contact us or read the full FAQ.

01What is the difference between a full wrap and a part wrap?
A full wrap covers the panels in printed vinyl. It suits designs with photos, like the log pile along the bottom of the Love Pizza trailer. A part wrap covers only some panels, and the trailer's own paint colour shows on the rest. Cut vinyl decals are the simplest option. They show lettering, a logo and contact details in a solid colour.
02Can you put our menu on the trailer?
Yes. We printed the Love Pizza menu beside the serving hatch as part of the design. If your prices change often, use a separate menu board or panel. We can reprint it without changing the rest of the branding.
03Does the trailer need any preparation before branding?
Yes. Vinyl sticks to clean, smooth surfaces in good condition. Fix dents, rust, flaking paint and old peeling decals first. Vinyl shows what is underneath, and it does not stick well to damaged paint. Send photos and we will tell you what your trailer needs.
04Do you brand cars and vans too?
Most of our vehicle branding has been on food and coffee trailers. For a car, bakkie or van, send photos and tell us what you want. We will tell you what we can do and give you a quote.
05What do you need to design our trailer branding?
Send photos of each side of the trailer, taken straight on. Add the main measurements, your logo and your menu or wording. Show us the hatches, windows, lights and hinges so we can plan the design around them.
06Can you also make flags and signs to go with our trailer?
Yes. Teardrop flags, A-frame menu boards and banners in the same design make your trailer easy to find at a market or festival. See our banners, flags and displays page.
