Stage fronts, exhibition stands and event branding

Prodigy Graphics prints event branding in Cape Town from our studio in Plumstead. We print stage fronts, exhibition stand panels, banners and teardrop flags, and we brand counters and coffee trailers. We printed the lotus mandala stage front for Earthdance Cape Town at Kogel Bay and Wildfire's black and gold exhibition stand. We also branded a Pick n Pay coffee trailer and counter for events.

01What we make for you

Printing and signage for events & exhibitions

Stage fronts and backdrops

We print large stage fronts and backdrops that people can see from the back of the crowd. The Earthdance Cape Town stage front at Kogel Bay was a huge lotus mandala that framed the stage.

Exhibition stands

We print tall panels and cover the booth in your colours, like Wildfire's black and gold exhibition stand. People in the aisle can see who you are before they reach you.

Branded counters and trailers

We branded a navy Pick n Pay coffee trailer for an event below Table Mountain and a Pick n Pay counter with menu boards for an indoor event. Our work also includes Rise and Grind's awning panels at a market and a branded ALDO counter.

Flags and banners for outdoors

Teardrop flags, banners and A-frame boards show people where to find you in a field or car park. Mesh banners let the wind through. Solid banners catch the wind.

Send artwork early

The event date is fixed. If you send artwork early, there is time to check a proof and fix problems before we print.

03More information

Stages and backdrops

People see a festival stage from far away, so it needs one big, clear image. For Earthdance Cape Town at Kogel Bay, we printed a huge lotus mandala stage front that frames the stage. We usually print this size in sections. The artwork has to allow for the joins, and the original file has to be large enough to stay sharp. Our large format printing page explains files and materials. Our artwork guidelines cover resolution and bleed.

Exhibition stands

At an expo, people walk past your stand in a few seconds. The Wildfire exhibition stand has tall printed panels and a booth covered in black and gold graphics. It uses the same colours and style as the Wildfire shopfront, so people recognise the brand. Put your name and main message high up, where people can see it over other people’s heads. Put the details at eye level for people who stop.

Counters, trailers and pop-up stands

Brands at events often sell from a counter or a trailer. Our event branding includes a navy Pick n Pay coffee trailer at an event below Table Mountain. We also made a Pick n Pay coffee counter with menu boards for an indoor event. Rise and Grind’s coffee trailer has branded awning panels for an outdoor market. Other jobs include a coffee trailer with printed teardrop flags and an A-frame menu board, and a branded ALDO counter at a retail event. See vehicle and trailer branding and stickers, decals and vinyl.

Flags, banners and wind

Teardrop flags and banners show people where to find you in a field, a market or a car park. In Cape Town, plan for wind. Mesh banners let air through and put less strain on the fixings. Flags need a ground spike on grass or a weighted base on paving. Ask the organiser what is allowed before you choose. Our banners, flags and displays page covers the options. You can also ask for a quote with your event date.

FAQ

Common questions

Have another question? Contact us or read the full FAQ.

01How early should we order event branding?
As early as you can. The event date is fixed, and the artwork usually needs at least one proof before we print. Tell us your event date when you ask for a quote. We will tell you what is possible in the time.
02Which banner is best for a windy outdoor event?
A mesh banner. It has small holes that let the wind through, so it puts less strain on the fixings than solid PVC. Teardrop flags on a ground spike or a weighted base suit open fields. Indoors or in a sheltered spot, solid PVC gives a fuller print.
03Can you brand a coffee or food trailer for events?
Yes. We have branded coffee trailers for Pick n Pay and Rise and Grind, and the Love Pizza trailer. Send us photos of each side, the measurements and your logo. We will lay out the branding, menus and panels.
04Can we reuse our stand graphics at the next show?
Often, yes, if you store the panels flat or rolled. Keep dates and one-off offers off the main panels. Put them on smaller pieces that you can replace.
