Studio shopfront signs

People look at a studio’s sign before they open the door. The sign should match the style of your work. Wildfire Tattoo & Piercing has a gold on black shopfront sign. Lit signs

Many studios stay open in the evening, or are on streets that are quiet at night. Swim Duck Swim, a brand development studio in the Bo-Kaap, has its name lit up in a window. Below it, a projecting sign faces people walking along the street. Lit lettering, halo-lit letters and neon signs make a studio easy to see at night. Expos and conventions

At a show, you meet people who have never walked past your studio. Wildfire’s exhibition stand has tall printed panels and a booth covered in black and gold graphics. It looks the same as the shop, so people who visit the stand can recognise the studio later. Use the same colours, lettering and logo on your stand as on your shopfront. Windows and glass

Cut vinyl on the glass can show your name, hours and services. Frosted film gives clients privacy in a treatment room and still lets the light in.
