Who is responsible

What we collect

We only collect the information we need to reply to you and do your job:

• Quote form details: your name, email address, phone number, business name if you give one, where the job is, and the details of what you need, such as sizes, materials and deadlines.
• Files you upload or send: artwork, logos and photos of walls, windows, vehicles or shopfronts. Please do not send photos that show people, or private details that you do not want us to see.
• Messages: what you send us by email, WhatsApp or phone, and our replies.
• Basic technical data: our hosting and security providers process information such as your IP address and browser type. They use it to run the website and protect it from abuse.

Why we use it

We use your information to reply to you, prepare quotes, design, produce and fit your job, send invoices and keep proper business records. We use it on these legal grounds: your consent, your request for a quote or job, our legitimate interest in running the business, and legal duties such as keeping financial records. We do not add you to a marketing list or send you marketing messages unless you ask us to.

How long we keep it

We keep quote and job details for as long as we need them for your job and our business records. This includes records that the law requires us to keep. We delete uploaded artwork and photos a reasonable time after the job is finished or the quote is no longer active. If you want us to keep your artwork for reprints, tell us. You can ask us to delete your information sooner. We will do so, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Who we share it with

We never sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run this website and our communication, or when the law requires it. These providers include our hosting provider and our email delivery provider, which sends quote form messages to us. Some of these providers store or process information on servers outside South Africa. We use established providers that are required to protect the information they handle for us.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use analytics that count visits without cookies and without identifying you. The map on our contact page only loads if you click it. Google’s privacy policy then applies to that map. If you contact us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s own privacy terms apply to that service.

How we protect it

The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Only the people handling your enquiry can access your messages and files. If anyone gets access to your personal information without permission, we will tell you and the Information Regulator, as POPIA requires.

Your rights

Under POPIA you have the right to:

1. Ask whether we hold personal information about you, and for a copy of it.
2. Ask us to correct or update it.
3. Ask us to delete it.
4. Object to us using it, or withdraw your consent.
5. Complain to the Information Regulator if you are unhappy with how we have handled your information. Its website is inforegulator.org.za.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice if our website or the way we work changes. The date at the top shows when we last updated it.
