Why halo lighting suits a practice

Halo lighting is also called back-lighting or reverse lighting. The light is behind the sign, so it shines onto the wall and not through the front of the sign. The front of the sign stays clear and easy to read. The glow makes the sign visible from the street, without the glare of a floodlight. The look is calm and tidy. Most medical practices want patients to see a calm, tidy practice before they walk in.

Halo lighting is also practical. In winter, it is dark during early morning and evening appointments. Patients can read the sign from the road, so they find the entrance more easily.
