Piket Implemente: 3D letters, entrance signs and a heritage photo wall

Outside: 3D letters on a stone wall

Red 3D “Piket” script and grey “Implemente” lettering are mounted on a long stone-clad boundary wall. The letters stand a little away from the wall. Each letter casts a shadow, so it is easy to read against the rough stone. Flat graphics are often hard to read on stone, so 3D letters are a better choice here. At the entrance, the same wall has “Hoof Ingang” and “Main Entrance” signs with an arrow, in Afrikaans and English. On the building, a navy panel on dark metal cladding shows the company name. A round black sign has a raised red “P” and “est. 1933”, with lights around its edge.

Inside: reception and a heritage wall

In reception, the red and grey letters are mounted on a reclaimed timber wall behind the counter. Further inside, a heritage timeline covers the 1940s to the 1980s in black and white photographs. Tall red bands mark each period. A corridor has framed photographs and heritage graphics along its walls. In the lounge, a black and white photo mural of three men covers the wall behind a leather chesterfield sofa.

The same colours inside and out

The same red, grey and black are used on the boundary wall, in reception and in the lounge. The brand looks the same from the road and from inside the building. Large prints of old photographs show visitors the company’s history. See 3D letters and reception signs and wall murals.
