New home wallpapers: birch tree, sky, car, damask and brick designs
Birch trees under sloping attic walls, a soft sky mural, vintage cars in a child's room, damask on the landing, red brick and a patterned bathroom.
Wallpaper in each room
This new home has wallpaper in many rooms, starting in the attic. In an attic room, birch tree wallpaper runs up the walls and follows the slope of the roof. Behind one bed is a soft mural of pale blue sky over misty mountains. A child’s room under the sloping roof has a pattern of vintage cars. The landing has pale damask. A bedroom wall between two windows has red brick wallpaper.
The smaller rooms have softer patterns. The bathroom has a soft looping design that continues around a white panelled door. Another bedroom under the sloping roof has a light pink pattern.
Choosing papers for a whole house
Each room has a different design. The designs still suit each other, because most of the papers are pale and soft. Only the brick and the birch trees have stronger colour.
The easiest time to wallpaper a new house is when the building is almost finished. The walls are clean and the rooms are empty. We can hang the paper before the furniture and pictures arrive. New plaster and paint need time to dry fully before we can paper over them. If you are building, talk to us early. See custom wallpaper and wall murals and our work for homes and interiors.
